Return Policy

Advanced Warning Lights must be notified of any returns for refund or exchange within seven days of receipt of merchandise. All return merchandise must be authorized by an Advanced Warning Lights representative. Returns with the request of a refund must be in the original condition and will be subject to a 15% restocking/service fee. If a product is determined to be used in any way, we will be unable to accept the return.

DO NOT SHIP ANY ITEMS BACK TO US WITHOUT APPROVAL. Any shipments that are returned without direct approval by an AWL representative will be refused, and the customer will be responsible for any return shipping costs from our facility.

Return requests can be requested after logging in to your user account, or in writing via email. Following receipt of a return request, you will receive notice stating whether your return was APPROVED or DENIED. Do NOT ship any items back to our facility until you have received a 'Return Request Approval' and RMA document which should be completed and included with your return.

The customer is responsible for all shipping costs of returned merchandise. We highly recommend that our customers insure all return merchandise. Return shipments must be in the original packaging, with sufficient wrapping, in order to avoid damage to the unit. We will not accept a return for a light that has been damaged in transit. In this situation, we will return the package to the sender, and depending on the size/weight of the product, may require the send to pay returning shipping costs.

All refunds for products within the seven day return policy will be returned to the credit card used for the original purchase. No refunds will be issued for original shipping costs, customization costs, or replacement parts. Refunds are issued within 5-10 business days from the date of arrival of your return. Your refund will appear back on your card within 3–4 business days depending on your financial institution.

Light bars (mini light bars, full size, or interior light bars), light sticks, special orders, and lights and/or lights with custom color configurations cannot be returned.

Warranty Returns
Advanced Warning Lights stands behind all of our products. If you have received a defective/DOA product, or your product becomes defective and is covered under warranty, please contact us so we can assist you. A copy of your original invoice or packing slip is required as proof of purchase.

All order cancellations must be made immediately. Customers will be charged a 5% cancellation fee. If your order has already shipped and is in transit, the customer will be responsible for returning the product back to Advanced Warning Lights.
